An Amazon Herb Company customer tells her story of how rainforest herbs helped change her Border Collie's health.

"Jesse James is a 3 year old Border Collie. Last fall I noticed that his energy level was low and he was very lethargic. If you know Border Collies, that sould NOT be the case.

We took him in for a complete set of blood tests and the results showed a disease called Tick Fever. It is very similar to Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever that people get. The vet and the homeopathic vet I was working with both said that antibiotics were the only way possible to handle this insidious disease. I was told it was something he would always have, and when the symptoms appear, to give him antibiotics --
probably for the rest of his life.

I'm not a believer in antibiotics so I did one treatment with antibiotics and said no more. His blood tested the same before and after the antibiotics.

When the symptoms appeared again, I called Amazon John. He suggested Una de Gato, Envirozon, and Recovazon. I gave them to Jesse for 10 days, re-tested the blood work, and now he tests NEGATIVE for Tick Fever.

The vet was VERY surprised and requested information on Rainforest Herbs. THANK YOU RAINFOREST!"

Veterinarian Discoveries in South America

At the University Mayor de San Marcos, Lima, Peru, from 1990 to 1994, Dr. Ruiz used Una de Gato to treat cats and dogs with a wide range of difficult to treat problems. The animals receiving Una de Gato were healthier and lived about three years longer than untreated animals. During Dr. Ruiz' veterinary applications, Una de Gato helped animals with allergic reactions (hair loss, itching), geriatria (dull coat, lethargy), inflammation (muscle, prostate, stomach), hemorrhoids, mammary tumors, osteoarthritis, parvovirus, and arthritis.

Dr. Elisabeth Sahtouris of Burlingame, CA writes:

"At my suggestion, a friend used the botanicals on a severely ill cat, who not only recovered but won't eat her food now without them."

Amazon Herb Associate Julia Stege's puppies take Rainforest Herbs for optimum health

"Ever since I brought 9-week old Starr home in March of 2002, she has been eating Amazon Herbs. Starr is a pure-bred Leonberger, also known as the Gentle Giant. Because of their size, Leonbergers are prone to hip and joint problems, heart disease, and cancer. Often they die as early as 6 or 7 years old. Starr's grandfather Balou died at age 6 of cancer, so I wanted to start Starr's preventative treatment early.

"I started by giving her about a teaspoon of Una de Gato Honey Vinegar in the palm of my hand. She would lap it up, so I upped the amount to a tablespoon. Amazon John had told me that Gravizon is good to help keep the lymph system clean, so I sometimes put about a teaspoon of Gravizon in with the Una de Gato Honey Vinegar, and Starr lapped that up too. Starr at 12 weeks old. I could still lift her like a baby! Not anymore!

"As Starr started growing, I began giving her Aquazon mixed with yogurt and Una de Gato Honey Vinegar. This is her favorite breakfast food.

"Starr's Leonberger buddies Sheeba, Izzy, my partner Steve's older Leonbergers, started becoming jealous of Starr's herbs, so I began feeding them the contents of used Shipibo Treasure Tea bags in their evening kibble/wet food mix.

Above: Starr (front - at 3 months), Sheeba (5 yrs, right) and Izzy (5.5 yrs, background) pose for picture on April 20, 2002. Top Right: Starr at 6 months. Right: Bubba tries to keep up with jockette Starr (1yr) when he was just a few months old. Now at 2 years old and 130 lbs (see more pics below), Bubba outruns all the dogs.

7-year old Izzy, who had been leaving half of his food uneaten, now gulps the whole bowl when tea and Recovazon are added. Sheeba, who gained a lot of weight when she was spayed and developed achy joints, loves the Matte Tea and Recovazon. Actually, Sheeba will eat anything you give her! I'm glad that includes healthy wild-crafted herbs!

When another Leonberger puppy, Bubba, entered our lives, I started giving him the Treasure Tea and other herbs. Amazingly, Bubba loves the herbs more than all the other dogs combined. He even licks pure Sangre de Drago off my hand, and comes back for more! I'm sure he's getting a lot of antioxidants because of this.

Above: Bubba at about 5 months old. Yes he's taking a pee, but it was the only way to get him to stop moving for the picture!

Right: Bubba in November 2004 (2yrs). What a specimen, my 'little' Amazon Doggie! He still licks Sangre de Drago out of my hand and has been known to eat used Matte tea, bag and all!

Below: Bubba (2yrs) and Izzy (7yrs)

Below Right: Starr (3yrs) Isn't she a princess of beauty? She is also a lovey girl and my faithful watch-dog. If you are a squirrel, a gopher, or a bird, however, she may not seem so "lovey." She is an Amazon Huntress!

I try to give all 4 dogs herbs every day -- the equivalent of about 3 grams each (the dogs weigh between 107 and 130 lbs.) I regularly use: Recovazon (either capsules or the powder comes in bulk from the Amazon Herb Company), Shipibo Tea (both Treasure and Matte tea -- I dry my used bags and open them in the dogs' food), and Sangre de Drago with the dogs (Sangre de Drago is essential to keep around in case the dogs get wounds, bites, scratches. With Sangre de Drago, the wounds heal in about a day.) Sometimes I throw a few vegi-capsules of Amazon Herbs like Digestizon Plus, Aquazon (also available in bulk), Fiberzon Plus, and Arcozon. I don't even have to stir them in. The dogs eat them with right up with the rest of the food.

So far Izzy has already outlived his father by over a year. Sheeba has lost weight and now gets up on the couch to sleep, something she hasn't had the ability to do in a couple of years! Starr is a happy as a lark (though she is a huntress and would probably want to EAT that lark!) Bubba is HUGE and HEALTHY. He is the love of my life!

Left: Sheeba (6.5 yrs) has lost some weight and is quite a bit more spry since she started taking Recovazon regularly. Below: Bubba (2yrs) and Starr (3 yrs) are giving me those puppy eyes, trying to get their muddy selves into my cottage. Looks like my french doors need a window cleaning!

A new product I have been using for several months now is AMAZON CLEAN AND GREEN. This is a natural, non-toxic cleanser that comes in a concentrated form. I put a diluted solution in the Clean & Green Spray Bottle and spray it on the dogs' fur, rubbing it in and combing it through. Then I let them dry. Amazingly all the dirt and smells seem to melt off of them and they are shiny and new. This is a safe, clean and easy way to give my dogs their "bath's."

Rainforest Herbs

Those who know me will tell you I love animals. And I wholeheartedly believe the herbs that grow in the Amazon Rainforest are just as beneficial to our pets as they are to you and me.

I put this belief to the test about three years ago when a friend in California sent me a gift -- an Irish setter, Labrador retriever mix puppy. As soon as the puppy arrived by airplane, I fed him Calmazon and Recovazon so he could recover from his flight to Florida. Within minutes of taking the herbs he was relaxed and calm and ready to be introduced to his new home. Little did he know how much he'd yearn for the herbs.

It didn't take long for me to learn of his adventurous and inquisitive nature. It seemed fitting to name him Sherlock, and he quickly agreed. Sherlock usually receives the same herbs I eat each day, in particular, Illumination and Shipibo Treasure Tea. He likes the contents of a used tea bag mixed in with his dog food.

But what Sherlock enjoys most is spending time at the beach or in the woods around our home. After the first time he went into the woods and came out with chiggers (a tiny mite whose bite causes severe itching), I rolled him over and rubbed three herb formulas on his belly and on the inside of his legs: Recovazon, for the itching; Envirozon, to eliminate poisons from the bites; and Arcozon, to boost his immune system. Within a day and a half, the chiggers were completely gone. Now, whenever the problem occurs, he runs to me and rolls on his back so I can apply the herbs that made him feel better.
